Why Pick Your Own Slabs?

• For any job that uses Granite, we strongly recommend that you pick your own slabs personally and advise your clients to do the same.

• Why?  Each block of Granite differs from another so every time a block is quarried, it differs from the previous one in shade, grain, veining, color and other natural characteristics.  No matter how good the sample is, never make a final selection based on a small 4" x 4" sample.  Seeing and picking the actual slab is the only way to ensure that you are getting the exact material for your project.  That's why Rocky Mountain Granite displays over 2,000 slabs in stock for viewing.

• You get to see the entire spectrum of colors that may suit your project
• You get to pick the exact shade that suits your project
• You get to see the choices that are available for the same material.  For example, Black Galaxy comes in various shades with varying degrees of gold specks that range from small to large and with varying degrees of concentration across the slab
